Early College

Vermont’s Early College program enables Vermont seniors to complete their last year of high school and their first year of college at the same time. Students earn free college credits that also count toward graduation from HHS. Students enroll in a full-time college course load each semester, and are also able to participate in HHS activities such as sports and prom. Priority admission deadline May 1, 2024. See your school counselor if you are interested in this program. The McClure Free Degree Promise is a pathway to a free associate degree for

Vermonters who complete the CCV Early College program and then continue with full-time enrollment at CCV to complete the second year of their associate degree.

Complete the  2024 Local Need Based Scholarship Application! The application deadline is Friday, May 3rd at 3 PM. By submitting this one application, students will automatically be considered for approximately 15 local scholarships. Students have received this application via school email, and it has also been advertised on Schoology. Students must be in their school email account to complete the application. Although a majority of scholarships are determined with need in mind, a few awards include specific criteria that are not need based. If you have any questions, reach out to Mr. Eberhardt  at

Apply for Scholarships and Awards to fund your future plans.

This Scholarship & Award Opportunities list will be updated weekly throughout the spring semester. Seniors also have access to this document on their class Schoology page. Check it often!
