C-SPAN’s website is indisputably overwhelming. Small thumbnails and scrunched-up text crowd its homepage and paralyze its users. But don’t let C-SPAN’s less-than-perfect website deter you; an entire world is to be found within its pages. 

Despite two school breaks, multiple snow days, and an extended exam week, Council has still had a very productive and eventful quarter! We began the quarter with a discussion in regards to a motion brought by Mr. Murphy about Squirtfest, formerly known as Assassin, which asked Council to “strongly oppose the continuation of Squirtfest.”

Elon Musk formally acquired Twitter on October 28th, 2022. He made the original offer, valuing Twitter at $44 billion, in April of the same year. This was valuing Twitter at $54.20 a share, well over the company’s stock price at the time.

As the chaos of midterms and Semester 1 comes to a close, a new set of classes, teachers and extracurricular activities can create new stress. Here are a few practices that may be useful to implement into a daily routine to help keep stress to a minimum as Semester 2 kicks into gear.
