About Us

The Women in STEM Club is dedicated to promoting and supporting women in STEM fields while fostering community involvement and empowerment. Our mission has two main goals: to empower women in STEM by providing valuable resources and a supportive community, and to inspire student interest in the many areas of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and beyond. We invite successful women in STEM from the Upper Valley area to share their experiences, career journeys, and advice, helping students better understand the diverse opportunities within STEM and the first steps they can take toward achieving their goals. Through these conversations, we aim to help undecided high school students explore different paths and discover the fields that best matches their interests and passions. To extend our impact beyond the club, we publish semesterly articles on our website (visit the Publications page to read them) that summarize our guest talks and explore a variety of women-in-STEM-related topics.
